The Rolex Submariner Hulk, reference 116610LV, is the only Submariner in history to combine a green dial and a green bezel. Produced from 2010 to 2020, it was discontinued without a direct replacement: its successor, the 126610LV, retains the green bezel but returns to a black dial. This distinction made it, almost immediately after its discontinuation, one of the most sought-after Submariners on the second-hand market.
The 40 mm case is that of the Super Case generation, with broader lugs and crown guards, which gives the watch a stronger presence than its nominal diameter suggests. At Francine Joaillerie, in Saint-Tropez, each Hulk is authenticated component by component, inspected and guaranteed.

The Kermit is the 16610LV from 2003, with a black dial and green aluminium bezel, released for the fiftieth anniversary of the Submariner. The Hulk is the 116610LV, the only one to be green on both the dial and the bezel. The Starbucks is the 126610LV from 2020, with a black dial and green ceramic bezel, on a 41 mm case.
Rolex renewed the entire Submariner line in 2020, with a 41 mm case and the calibre 3235. The green dial was not carried over into this new generation.
Its discontinued production and unique dial continue to support its market value over time. As with any collector's watch, condition, completeness of the set and authenticity of the components account for most of the price difference.
The green dial, the fineness of the date window, the rehaut engraving and the correspondence of the numbers with the papers are checked systematically. Each watch sold is accompanied by its certificate of authenticity.
