Presented in 2020, the Rolex Submariner Date 126610LV combines a black lacquered dial with a green Cerachrom bezel. Collectors have nicknamed it Starbucks, in reference to the green of the American brand's logo. It inaugurates the new generation of Submariner: case increased to 41 mm, slimmer lugs, redesigned Oyster bracelet and calibre 3235 with 70 hours of power reserve.
It succeeds the Hulk, whose green dial it does not retain. This return to a black dial makes it noticeably more discreet on the wrist, while preserving the bezel's green signature. At Francine Joaillerie, in Saint-Tropez, each example is authenticated and guaranteed.

Despite the extra millimetre, the 126610LV appears slimmer on the wrist than the Super Case generation it replaces. Rolex has refined the lugs and crown guard, which visually reduces the mass of the case. This is one of the arguments that leads those who found the 116610 too bulky to prefer this reference over the previous one.
Both nicknames refer to the 126610LV. Cermit is a contraction of ceramic and Kermit, in reference to the 16610LV from 2003. Starbucks remains the most commonly used name.
The Hulk (116610LV) has a green dial and a 40 mm Super Case. The Starbucks (126610LV) has a black dial, a 41 mm case and calibre 3235.
Yes, the green bezel Submariner is among the most sought-after references and remains subject to waiting lists. Certified authentic second-hand is the most direct route.
